Hello! I’m Saloni, an industrial designer passionate about building products that last longer and closer to heart while improving lives. I find joy in design that empowers, I'm always curious about people, what they do and driven by design innovation.
I have worked in the areas of sustainability, social innovation, healthcare, and consumer products. Over time I have gained skills to understand, analyze, conceptualize, and develop solutions for problems in different domains.

Patented and developed an affordable manufacturing machine to make eco-friendly tableware out of leaves & edible glue. Conducted 250+ user interviews & developed multiple iterations of the machine & user experience with engineers & manufacturers.

Designed & patented world’s first automated rice & curry maker with a diverse team of engineers, & designers. Led the design phase from concept generation to user testing through user research, ideation, 3D CAD, and design for injection molding.

Spearheaded immersive user research and participatory design methodologies with the vision rehab center with 50+ users & stakeholders to build an educational tool that teaches concepts of navigation to kids with vision impairment.
